RUBY'S TRAVELS

First part of the story is we got an oil change without any oil being put back in. The argument has been on-going since July 31st as to the damage done. Davis says none, we say extensive. Davis finally agreed to have an independent mechanical shop drop the pan. This was done at Ebel's and each party took oil samples at the same time for analysis. Over two weeks went by and we hadn't heard anything. Dad went to see Bert who was gone so he dealt with Dayle (auto & Lube Mgr.). Dayle was surprised this wasn't resolved and promised to look into it. Dad then ventured through Davis's lot and couldn't find the Envoy. Went down to Ebel's and couldn't find it there either. Decided to go into the shop. As he's speaking to the Boss and the Boss comments somebody has finally come down to pick it up. Dad is not the picker-upper, but low and behold, behind him enters Dayle looking for the Envoy. Then we never heard from them until 5:05, when Dad receives a call from Bert telling him there seems to be a funny noise in the engine compartment and asks Dad to come down in the morning. This we did, along with Uncle Victor and listened to the consistent ticking (at this time oil analysis were compared / ours shows many parts of chrome & silver, theirs, need I say, minimal). They are confident nothing is wrong and some cap on the connecting rod (I think) has been put on backwards. Uncle Vic explains this cannot happen and their mechanic Rick says yes, always....they also is not a good combination. Tim Davis is around so back into the office we go. We give him our options. He will check into it and get back to us. Again days pass and Dad once again decides to find poor ole Ruby. That is when he found her, stripped of her heart (her engine, in case you didn't figure that out) and that brings us to the last update. Today the comment was "you have something to drive, don't you?"
