Holidays
Firstly Dad wants to thank you all for the Father's Day Wishes. Lori, Dad also likes his doorknob/lock. Not sure which door it's going on yet, but that was such a wonderful idea. Seems strange since we used to go camping on Father's Day. Anyways I was on holidays and we ended up at Buffalo Pound. Kim and Bill did come out. They left Addyson with us. Had a lot of fun with her. Kids are so funny. For those of you who remember, Buffalo Pound is in a valley with B.P. Lake running alongside it. Huge hills....told Addy if she was bigger we would hike up one. Of course one question leads to another. WHY? Let the munchkin know I wasn't sure about the cactus' and didn't want to get jabbed by the needles and end up with prickles. Good answer Grandma. Next time we're hiking she informs me when she's bigger we will go up the huge hills cause this time we don't want the "porcupines" to give us any prickles. She's so funny! Observant she is. Commented on how quiet it is here Grandma. Got to ride her Dora Trike, go to the playground, planned trips into the water puddles (good thing she brought her rubber boots), picked yellow flowers which Grandpa wouldn't let her bring into the motorhome. We did get rain. She was OK. Played games on her I-Pad, built a hut under the table for herself and Cosmo, loves to paint. I'm sure she slept very well when she got back to Regina. As far as us. Stopped in Moose Jaw and then our fun started. Motorhome started acting up. Got to Swift Current, then the small town factors cut in....no parts available. No sweat, our home for the next two days was the parking lots. We have now become Mall Rats. I'm sure Canadian Tire, Walmart and the local RCMP detachment are glad we hit the road. Oh yeah, Dad had a run-in with the RCs while I was in the mall. We were travelling back and forth with his Gator which we were pulling, only to find out he was not to move it unless it was loaded. Great! Now we're on foot. Finally after $500 we are back on the road. 30 miles down the road, we are back to square one. Same problem happens...with lots of coaxing we are back home. The bad part, our problem still isn't solved! Oh well, so the saga continues, I'm back to work tomorrow.
