I'm sure you all remember Lorne across the street....well he passed away.

1935 ~ HIDES ~ 2009
Mr. Lorne Galen Hides, beloved husband of Mrs. Moreen Lynne Hides of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, November 16th, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Lorne also leaves to cherish his memory one son, Tim (Talisa) of Great Falls, Montana; one daughter, Loreen (Kelly) Lawson of Redcliff; three grandchildren, Bryce, Caleb and Carter; two brothers, Jack (Ruby) and Ted (Norma); three sisters, Irene (Den) McBee, Bev (Larry) Roberts, and Nan (Frank) Schneider; one sister-in-law, Joanne (Tony) DeRosa of Trail, British Columbia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ida; two brothers, Bud and Harry; and one sister, Beth Chapman. The Funeral Service will be held in ST. BARNABAS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 635 – 4th Street SE, on Friday, December 4th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with The Reverend Gene Packwood officiating. Memorial gifts in Lorne’s memory may be made to the Medicine Hat Palliative Care Society, 666 - 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
