Happy Holidays!!

Hope everybody's Christmas was great! Thanks for the pictures Connie. I see Gavin's glass is half full....does that mean he had a head-start or are the other guys ahead of him. Haha. Everything looks pretty formal. Just not use to seeing Gavin in a suit and you with the new do and dress.
Are L & L behaving themselves? I noticed Lori sees to have the laid-back Mexi Attitude. Bet Christmas was fun. I'm curious to know if somebody over there actually cooked a turkey or did you opt for something less traditional. As for us, yes we had the bird and Lincoln's favorite...meat pie. Guess you have to be French to acquire such a taste, as it wasn't Andrea's favorite either. C & A left Boxing Day as they were going to her sister's place for supper. K & B & Addyson still here. Suits me fine as I am off and we get to spend time (or maybe I should say spoil) Addyson. She actually fell asleep on the couch this afternoon before she even had lunch.

HO! HO! HO!

This is the only Christmas Card I could find. Merry Christmas One & All! By the way, if the cat looks like Teva, it probably is. She seems to think she belongs under the tree. Better than the first experience crawling up the trunk. Now she's content playing with the springy bird on the Snowman's shoulder.

Cat Christmas

OK Lori. Is this some secret code between you and the animals. Everytime I turn this Animal Christmas Tune on, out come the animals. The first time, Cosmo was lying on the couch snoozing and when she hear the music she was like a jack-in-the-box, head bounced up right away. Teva was downstairs and up she came and sat beside the computer desk looking at the screen and her ears pointed the same way. Crazy Animals!! Was that the reaction you were looking for?

?!!?!

what happened to the rest of the blog? i can't see any of the other posts.

btw, i like how peanut dances.....nice leg moves!!

A couple more pics....

We had a million birds in our backyard yesterday, so I sent a pic of them to Gav while he was at work.

The monster and I getting ready to watch the football game.....Texans lost....again.

Ok. For those of you who don't know, on Tuesdays I go to this group called "Canadian Housewives of Harris County". We have coffee and chat. There are about 7 of us and we've been doing it for about 2 months. We meet for a few hours of "therapy" as the husbands would call it. Anyways, we had a Christmas party with the husbands. Gav and I got there late because we had Heathers bday dinner the same night. The next 3 pics are from that night. And yes Lori, if you look close enough you can see that I'm wearing skinny jeans. Yes, its true. I thought it would never happen again in my life....but it has.

The lady wearing her jacket (looks like a blanket), just found out she has cancer. Our little group has helped her lots. She's now been for two treatments and has started losing her hair. :O(

The boys. Dave on the left (Gav used to work for him at Tesco, he left and started his own company, he is actually American but his wife is Canadian), then Gav, then Greg. Greg and Denise just got their green cards.

Thats all for now family......
Miss you all!!
XOXOXO

A little catch up....

Hey Lor, Nice pics of the kids! I noticed you have a pretty decent sized tree. Thought I would upload a few pics for the fam as well.
Kim, We always want pics of Addy....so get on it!
Darin.....are you alive out there??

This pic is from my neighbor Heathers bday dinner. Heather is in the middle, lives two doors from us, and Michelle is on the other side of Heather. Michelle is the one that I do some work for when she needs help. The other two ladies are friends of Heathers.
This is the frost we had. No snow, but it was COLD!!

My bday balloons from my family....THANK YOU!!! Sorry about the dirty floor!

Band Hero!! GOOD TIMES!!!

Bob Saget (not as funny as last time we saw him, but still pretty good). Saw him when Mala and Derrick were here around my bday.

Xmas

Just to let you all know.....Addyson pulled names for Xmas gifts. This is no lie: for every person that she picked, the first name was always that person buys for themself. And, as it turns out, we are paired up with who you buy for. It turned out really weird.
Mom buys for Andrea - Andrea for Mom, Dad buys for Bill - Bill for Dad, Darin buys for Kim - Kim for Darin.

Darin, is this still ok with you?
Gotta run out and do some Xmas shopping before it gets busy here in the city!!

Houston braces for at least 2 inches of snow

How's that for headlines right from The Houston Chronicle! C & G, we were wondering if you brought your toques & scarves with you when you left Canada. Maybe you'd like your sleds sent down. Try and keep toasty warm for the next couple of days and think of what your missing up here.
