Happy Holidays!!

Hope everybody's Christmas was great! Thanks for the pictures Connie. I see Gavin's glass is half full....does that mean he had a head-start or are the other guys ahead of him. Haha. Everything looks pretty formal. Just not use to seeing Gavin in a suit and you with the new do and dress.
Are L & L behaving themselves? I noticed Lori sees to have the laid-back Mexi Attitude. Bet Christmas was fun. I'm curious to know if somebody over there actually cooked a turkey or did you opt for something less traditional. As for us, yes we had the bird and Lincoln's favorite...meat pie. Guess you have to be French to acquire such a taste, as it wasn't Andrea's favorite either. C & A left Boxing Day as they were going to her sister's place for supper. K & B & Addyson still here. Suits me fine as I am off and we get to spend time (or maybe I should say spoil) Addyson. She actually fell asleep on the couch this afternoon before she even had lunch.

HO! HO! HO!

This is the only Christmas Card I could find. Merry Christmas One & All! By the way, if the cat looks like Teva, it probably is. She seems to think she belongs under the tree. Better than the first experience crawling up the trunk. Now she's content playing with the springy bird on the Snowman's shoulder.

Cat Christmas

OK Lori. Is this some secret code between you and the animals. Everytime I turn this Animal Christmas Tune on, out come the animals. The first time, Cosmo was lying on the couch snoozing and when she hear the music she was like a jack-in-the-box, head bounced up right away. Teva was downstairs and up she came and sat beside the computer desk looking at the screen and her ears pointed the same way. Crazy Animals!! Was that the reaction you were looking for?

btw, i like how peanut dances.....nice leg moves!!

A couple more pics....

We had a million birds in our backyard yesterday, so I sent a pic of them to Gav while he was at work.

The monster and I getting ready to watch the football game.....Texans lost....again.

Ok. For those of you who don't know, on Tuesdays I go to this group called "Canadian Housewives of Harris County". We have coffee and chat. There are about 7 of us and we've been doing it for about 2 months. We meet for a few hours of "therapy" as the husbands would call it. Anyways, we had a Christmas party with the husbands. Gav and I got there late because we had Heathers bday dinner the same night. The next 3 pics are from that night. And yes Lori, if you look close enough you can see that I'm wearing skinny jeans. Yes, its true. I thought it would never happen again in my life....but it has.

The lady wearing her jacket (looks like a blanket), just found out she has cancer. Our little group has helped her lots. She's now been for two treatments and has started losing her hair. :O(

The boys. Dave on the left (Gav used to work for him at Tesco, he left and started his own company, he is actually American but his wife is Canadian), then Gav, then Greg. Greg and Denise just got their green cards.

Thats all for now family......
Miss you all!!
XOXOXO

A little catch up....

Hey Lor, Nice pics of the kids! I noticed you have a pretty decent sized tree. Thought I would upload a few pics for the fam as well.
Kim, We always want pics of Addy....so get on it!
Darin.....are you alive out there??

This pic is from my neighbor Heathers bday dinner. Heather is in the middle, lives two doors from us, and Michelle is on the other side of Heather. Michelle is the one that I do some work for when she needs help. The other two ladies are friends of Heathers.
This is the frost we had. No snow, but it was COLD!!

My bday balloons from my family....THANK YOU!!! Sorry about the dirty floor!

Band Hero!! GOOD TIMES!!!

Bob Saget (not as funny as last time we saw him, but still pretty good). Saw him when Mala and Derrick were here around my bday.

Xmas

Just to let you all know.....Addyson pulled names for Xmas gifts. This is no lie: for every person that she picked, the first name was always that person buys for themself. And, as it turns out, we are paired up with who you buy for. It turned out really weird.
Mom buys for Andrea - Andrea for Mom, Dad buys for Bill - Bill for Dad, Darin buys for Kim - Kim for Darin.

Darin, is this still ok with you?
Gotta run out and do some Xmas shopping before it gets busy here in the city!!

Houston braces for at least 2 inches of snow

How's that for headlines right from The Houston Chronicle! C & G, we were wondering if you brought your toques & scarves with you when you left Canada. Maybe you'd like your sleds sent down. Try and keep toasty warm for the next couple of days and think of what your missing up here.

Bonne 30ieme Fete Connie! Shall we consider you Over The Hill or does that just happen when you turn 40. Nice of Mula & Derek to share the day with you. Cute card Lori. Funny thing is, it looks just like the one we sent, except the pug is towering over an empty pizza box. Great minds think alike.

Just a fav

Ran across a pic I absolutely love while working on the latest wedding package. I wish I was in it... I love it!

Hooooooo LY

I don't even know little Addy anymore! She is so grown up! She will be a teenager and hating grownups before I get to see her! Thanks for the pics. And the one of my little girl Teva! Kim, I haven't been doing my homework on the photography contest yet.

Checked out a new gym the other day. Wow, I almost died. I did a boxersice class. The lady that teaches is incredibly fit. She looks about 30 but is actually over 40 and had a kid just 4 years ago. Wow! So, I'm hoping to keep at this gym. Every morning at 9:15. Next on the list is to buy a bike to ride to the gym.

Flu- smu! That's all I have to say. Oh, wait, maybe not.... and I'll remind you that you've probably had the flu a few times in your life (and everyone you know).... and all survived. Phew! I guess I don't hear about all the huff going on up there. All I know is that there are a million diseases in the world that kill people (as well as 'things'... like the actual airplane you would be getting on)... Anyway, what are you gonna do??? Stay at home for the rest of your life?

Heres a couple of my favorite pics from the last wedding...

Notice her sis upside down in the mirror (i didn't notice this til after, otherwise I would have taken a better shot)

Oh, yeah, for xmas... that is what I say... buy for who you're going to see. Or figure it out between you and the people you will see.

Far Behind

Well, I am finally downloading some pictures off the Canon camera! It doesn't have videos so I'll have to find our point and shoot and get the pics off of there too. Here are a few shots.

So, for Xmas, are we just doing gift exchange with the people that we see? Is that the idea? Just wanting to check as Black Friday is just around the corner. As much as I'd love to travel in a plane and go to Houston, I'm a bit chicken of the flu and sickies in a plane. I guess I'll need to get over that sometime really soon though.

Last Nights Rockets Game

Gav got tickets for the basketball game from one of Tesco's vendors. So we went, and brought our neighbors. We had wicked seats for our very first NBA game. Here are some pics!

Pics and things...

Well, I don't know what to say about xmas.... except I know what both Connie and I are doing. See you in Houston Connie. Oh!!! Connie, I have an idea by the way.... Lets plan a craft to do together for xmas. Any ideas on what we could make?

nice doggie dog

She's cute.

No news......working on my Halloween costume. Its gonna be awesome! Its still top secret so I can't tell you what I'm gonna be.

I met another Canadian couple here....thats cool. They live relatively close to us, probably a 10 min drive. Gavin has known them a long time...but he quit Tesco a few years ago and started his own company. He thought it would be taboo if we were friends with them (because they're the competition)......but, we decided, we don't care. Tesco hired back one of the guys that started the company so we're just following Tesco's lead.

Con

PS....still nobody has said anything about Xmas......so THINK ABOUT IT!

Hi Family. Update from Mexico....
We are back at shooting weddings! Shot our second of the month today. Both with TTD's. Here are a few that I like from one of the packages.

We have about 4 or 5 sets of friends coming down here soon. Some are staying with us and others we'll just be meeting for a drink or two. We're excited to see some people that will remind us of home!

Also, we adopted a doggie. We saved her from the mall parking lot. She was looking way too scared, hungry and beat up. After a few parking lot visits, we were finally able to coax her into the van with some food. Got her home while Nutty was away at day care. She was very very scared but we worked with her and we are happy to report she is now climbing the stairs, going into her house, eating from our hand, taking walks (etc) without a worry. Had her first experience at day care today. Again, pretty scared. We pick her up tomorrow and we'll see how she did. I think she'll be fine cause she is with her partner in crime, Nutty. They are getting along pretty good. Playing LOTS. The odd disagreement when one gets tired of playing or nutty is being the boss of all the toys. Jeter is still staying high so she can avoid them both. She is also doing well though.

Here are a couple pics of her. Temporary name is "bambi" or "bambino".... not sure if we'll keep it yet. The name I mean....

You Know Your A Red-Neck When!!!

When your a Roughrider Fan and your travelling through the "Coquihalla Pass" in BC pulling this trailer. Ah, that was the funniest. LOL. Aren't you all happy you have Saskatchewan Roots?

Mini Lady Gaga

This little girl did not stop all nite. She was on the dance floor until we left. Mom had to do a little entertaining.
