BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

2008 is starting with a Bang and in more ways than one. The dryer just went Ka-boum. Was a good time to take off. Ended up in Olds at Auntie Lucie and Uncle Clarence's. Continued on to Calgary. Took Auntie Bernie out for lunch at her favorite place, Swiss Chalet. Your father couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant....the gay waiter winked at him once too many times. Auntie turns 80 this year and she's bound and determined to buy a new car. Has to be RED (she's worse than me for vehicle color), doesn't matter what else it has. Checked some out and I think she's sold on a Honda Accord. Beautiful car, I must say.

We were fortunate enough to finally meet Gavin's parents and sister Ruth. They're wonderful people. Just can't believe how they kept the accent after 28 years in Canada. Supper at the Olive Garden was yummy, too bad we couldn't get a table to seat all of us.

Dad accomplished the impossible.....followed Lori down the Deerfoot....haha, just joking Lori....glad you took it easy on us. Got home around 1 a.m. Brought a gray cat home with us, which, by the way, doesn't travel very well. What we don't do for our children. Lori is soooo lucky Dad was patient with Teva, I on the other hand was too busy gagging. Anyways Teva now has rein of the basement and Cosmo is learning to watch her back. That's ok, Cosmo now has a new bed which looks exactly like Teva's. Phat Cat, however, doesn't like the idea of not being entitled to dog food especially when our pooch is eating. (of course Cosie has our help).
