Dear Family,

Just letting you know that Gav and I made it home from Dubai. It kinda reminds me of Vegas....all the buildings (hotels and apartments are huge)! Palms everywhere....but no Casino's. Anyways, this is the first time I get on the computer in a week.....so I'll post pics later!

Sounds like your trip is all arranged. Oh well, guess you got a mini holiday out of the first shot. I'm sure Connie & Gavin were glad to see the two of you anyway. How many days are you allowing to get back to Playa?

Gramma A&Js birthday today. She's 84. You know her, she celebrated with the green shamrocks. Seems like we just celebrated her 80th birthday.

I'm still alive.... I haven't posted here in a while so I thought I'd let you all know I'm doing fine.

Back from Houston... without my new car... but scheduled to go back and get it at the end of the month. Was quite a mess trying to get it through the border and ended up turning around and spending a couple more days with Connie & Gavin. Everything is in order now to get across the border. Flight is booked to go back and stuff myself with Texas Road House rib eye!! Then, off to the border again. This time better prepared with some new wheels, coffee pot for those early mornings, & hand sanitizer... Ooooooh.... we didn't pack toilet paper! I'll have to remember that one for next time!

As you all know my life has taken a bit of a turn. I will be staying in Playa, in this condo, until at least the end of the year. Wedding gigs booked all the way til xmas. I am starting to do my thinking on where or what I'll be doing in the New Year. Spent a few hours on the beach today chatting with my Canadian friend about life and possibilities. Seems we have more in common than we knew... Except I just found out she is 43... looks more like 35...

Anyway, thats it for now. I'll let you know when I have a better idea of how life will unfold for me this year...

Way to go Gavin! Glad you caught those two daughters of ours in action. It's that little girl who's the bad influence. I knew you had a big house but didn't realize it had a stage too.....just for times when C & L are rockin' up a storm. LOL.
