Forgetting the camera wouldn't be a problem if Kim hooked up sometimes and would see we are waiting for pictures and she posted them instead of Lori.
Oh, by the way, I do WORK. I really prefer the holidays though. Wonder if I could arrange for more.......hhuuumm.....I think I'm taking more when baby comes.

Well, I'm back at work now... and very very tired. My trip to Regina was good. Not long enough tho. Never is. Got some good visiting in with Kim, Bill, Tyra, Shannon and the old ball team. And YES, Connie, I did take pictures of Kims belly!! Its getting big! and kicking lots! I would post the pics buuuut... I forgot my camera in Regina. Heeheehee, ooops.
O.K. I don't have anything new but you guys are hard on my nerves. One flying in from Houston, one from Regina and one driving to Calgary. I'm kinda relieved Kim and Bill are staying put right now. Just to let everybody know I'm on holidays as of Thursday. Looks like we're heading towards the mountains.
Well, I'm back from Houston.....it was soooo pretty. I thought because its so hot there that everything would be dry and brown. Boy was I wrong!!!! The trees are sooooo green and huge!! And they're everywhere!! Beautiful plants and palm trees. We hit Galveston and San Antonio as well. I'll post pics of both of those next time....they're still on the camera. Galveston was totally not what either of us were expecting. I thought a few houses and a few ma and pa shops....are you kidding??!?!?!? The whole island is covered with houses, fast food, and big chain stores!!!! In San Antonio we went on the Riverwalk and to the Alamo. I'm not gonna lie but, I'm POSITIVE that it is hotter here than it was in Houston!! But they say they have 2 seasons.....August and Summer!!
Now to the serious stuff. We should know in a few days if we're going to make the move. We finally got an offer in writing on Friday. Just a few small things to work out in Canada and in Houston before Gavin signs on the dotted line. Don't worry, I'll keep YA'LL in the loop!!!

Hello everybody. I don't know about everybody else but I'm sick of this heat wave. Setting records just isn't to my liking. The only funny thing which has come out of all this sweltering weather is your father actually took the leggings off his long pants for one whole entire day. Was quite the site with those white chicken legs! Connie, maybe a wedding in Mexico just might work.
By the way, I'd like to thank the Missing Link for the info on Lori's riding skills. Every little bit helps when it comes to makin' this Mama feel better.

I guess Lemmie Lu (aka: Lemmers) wanted some fresh updates in hopes to inspire the family to keep the family blog alive! Or maybe... this invite means Im family... DOUGH! Lemmers... did you have something you want to say to me!?!?? OH BOY!
OK... down to business... Im not good at keeping secrets soooo... I will spill the beans... Lori and I took our first bike ride out into traffic. I have to say... that after all her practicing on the side streets... she handled it like a champ! She did a fantastic job and after I saw her take her first left hand turn thru an intersection in traffic... and all my concerns were gone. Total control of her bike and very safe. Good job... now we just need to get a lot more miles under her belt in a good way and get the experience necessary to be a biker for life. No worries mama and papa Lemieux... your Lori is doing an excellent job... and being safe.
Now onto this Sisqo thing... ummm... yeah... I think the song goes "once bitten, twice shy". I was mauled as a child on a beach in BC... and Cujo there has brought out that child in me. It takes a big man to admit his fear... and even a bigger man to protect this man from the doggie from the big screen. You will need to demonstrate some impressive skills before Mr. S and I become buds. In fact... when he goes over to the fridge and brings me a beer on command.... I will take him for a walk! hahaha
That's it for me... I should go... you guys are all probably tired from reading such a long blog. And like Lemmie Lu... Im doing this at work and need to make some bacon!
