I guess Lemmie Lu (aka: Lemmers) wanted some fresh updates in hopes to inspire the family to keep the family blog alive! Or maybe... this invite means Im family... DOUGH! Lemmers... did you have something you want to say to me!?!?? OH BOY!
OK... down to business... Im not good at keeping secrets soooo... I will spill the beans... Lori and I took our first bike ride out into traffic. I have to say... that after all her practicing on the side streets... she handled it like a champ! She did a fantastic job and after I saw her take her first left hand turn thru an intersection in traffic... and all my concerns were gone. Total control of her bike and very safe. Good job... now we just need to get a lot more miles under her belt in a good way and get the experience necessary to be a biker for life. No worries mama and papa Lemieux... your Lori is doing an excellent job... and being safe.
Now onto this Sisqo thing... ummm... yeah... I think the song goes "once bitten, twice shy". I was mauled as a child on a beach in BC... and Cujo there has brought out that child in me. It takes a big man to admit his fear... and even a bigger man to protect this man from the doggie from the big screen. You will need to demonstrate some impressive skills before Mr. S and I become buds. In fact... when he goes over to the fridge and brings me a beer on command.... I will take him for a walk! hahaha
That's it for me... I should go... you guys are all probably tired from reading such a long blog. And like Lemmie Lu... Im doing this at work and need to make some bacon!

MOTHER LOAD!!!

WOW!!!! I picked a motherload of peas from my garden today!!!!! Glad nobody is here for me to share with!!!!

Ya I do know how to use this thing.

Well not much new as usual. Work is going pretty good right now, the only thing I don't like is the hours I am working, graveyard shift. Well Sara and I went to Medicine Hat for a weekend away. We tried golfing in Med Hat and well, I guess you probably know why Sara Lori and Connie are taking golf lessons. lol. BURN.

Doggie Dog Training!

All I can say is WOW!!!!! Sisqo started his dog training on Saturday, and what an improvement on control and focus!!!

We've been working really hard with the clicker training all week. Sisqo's trainer (Tiffany) came over again last night for session number two. We learned how to answer the door. After the initial shock of the doorbell ringing I find a very calm and focused dog. Who would've thought!?!?! We have to do a couple of sit and focus drills before we can open the door. When the door opens he is still focused on ME not on who is coming in the door!!! Can you believe that in 30 mins the dog who would hear the doorbell and jump all over the door and bark like a maniac has changed into a dog who will bark for a second and then can actually concentrate?

She also taught us what we can do with strangers. They may not be able to pet them....but that's fine. At least with what she taught us he can be comfortable around people and won't try to eat them!!! Well, maybe still Lincoln but that's okay, right?

He'll be staying with Rufus for the next week while I'm in Houston. Hopefully when I get back he'll still be able to focus!! Sisqo loves this type of training because right now he gets treats all the time!!!!

Good and Bad news...

The good news first!!! My little baby Jeter is using her litter box quite consistantly, and all by herself now. It's been about a week shes been going on her own. Good little girlie!

The bad news, my truck got broken into. Super hey? It has a sleep over Downtown cause I was out for stampede and... I go to get 'er the next day, aaaaaand... the back window was smashed out. Not sure what they were going for, there is nothing visible inside my truck, never is. But, they rifled thru my stuff and took a cheap pair of sunglasses, and they lost their watch in my truck in the process. Serves them right but it was a piece of junk that was probably stolen anyway. Jerks.

No worries tho, stopped at Glass Masters after I found it and they hooked me up! Cleaned up all the glass, put some plastic on and ordered me a window. It'll get replaced wednesday and cost me 125 buckers. Not bad... I guess. The box cover is gonna need some work too, there is damage from them walking all over the broken glass.

Golfin

Well well... Connie, Sara and I had our first golfing lesson last night. Superstar (ME, that is!) was hitting 175 yards with the 5 iron. I'm still not doing it properly tho. Teach wanted to change my name to STRONG Arm, cause I'm swinging with my arms, instead of my whole body. Hmm, gotta work on that.

As for the other two... they suck. Haha, just joshin!!

Thursday

I pick Gavin up from the airport tomorrow after work. He probably won't be here for very long.....and then on the 22nd....I'm off to Houston! Woohooo!!!

We're going camping this weekend in Waterton. Leaving Saturday and coming home on Monday, back to work on Tuesday. YUCK!
