My new site

I have created my own site now with only my work and a bit about family photos. I will eventually expand this for other types of photography. Here it is for now... I will be working to get some more variety in the shots I display... but this is it for now...

Afternoon fun in the Pool

Here are couple pics of the neighbours having fun in the pool (and some non neighbours).

Guess who!?!?!

Hahha, Myrna isn't a very good swimmer and couldn't get to the bottom of the pool for a pic.
This is who Connie says looks like Darin... Aka, Roberto, my neighbour.

Twins

I love the pics. What did the Mom & Dad say? Do they like them? I can't even pic a favorite. The facial expressions are priceless! Obviously the little girl takes over. Her smile is a killer and then you see her pout....Ah so cute. Why is it with twins, the girl always seems to rule? Hopefully the little boy's lazy eye is been checked out. Maybe that's why he isn't at the fore-front. Anyways those are the best pictures ever. Did you get some of them playing together?

Some of my favorites

Well... I have many many favorites from my family shoot, but here are a few.... I love love love them!!! I had a ton of fun capturing them and even looking at them afterwards, I couldn't stop smiling. I will do my best to bring this same fun happy atmosphere to all my shoots!!

These are twins. So cute!!! Looks like the girl is the leader of the two. The boy seemed a bit more shy. Maybe they will come back for more pics when they're older. That would be cool.

Enjoy!

Brrrr....

Thanks for the update Mom. Hope dad is feeling better.

I saw it was like 10 in Calgary today. My god!??!? What is up with that? It's summer up there isn't it? Sometimes I lose track. Heehee. It's definitely summer here. Rainy season though, which is absolutely awesome! I love love love the rain now! Come to think of it though, we still haven't had a "rained out" wedding. Each and every one of them has been outside/beach as planned.

Brought the doggies out to play fetch today. One of these times I will bring my camera. They are so funny. Nutty squeels as she chases Maya cause she isn't fast enough to beat Maya to the ball. I guess she thinks a little squeeling might confuse Maya. Maya is too busy playing to take bathroom breaks. She won't even put the ball down to take a crank. ahahah, so funny.

Other day our internet went out. Turns out they installed electrical equipment on the roof, and eventually the rain made it thought the "air tight" case (which is next to a regular indoor outlet where it is plugged in). Ah good times.... Time to teach the Mexicans about electricity and rain.... Ah.... good times.... Take a deep breath and move on.

Glad to hear you cleaned out the camper Mom. Can't wait for our camping trip in September! Looking forward to cooking hot doggies on the fire.

I recently photographed a family session. Two little twins. They were so cute. Pics are processing now. Will post some favorites soon. You should have seen me. I was like a kid in a candy store. Their happiness is so catchy. I had a great time. Can't wait to do more. Also did my first pregnancy shoot (freebee... but the last one). I fully enjoyed that as well. Pics will come eventually.

Thats it, bye bye for now

Winter in Summer

I hate it. Thinking of turning the furnace on. It's windy, ugly, cold, rainy. Dad had his appointment with Dr. Stapleton today. Clinic in Calgary is extremely busy. Hallways were lined with people waiting. Appointment took about 2.5 hours but in the end it was time well spent. The team proved to be very informative and actually seemed to care about the end diagnosis. Check your email for more info. Just realized it has been over two months since we been out of town. Almost like getting Cabin Fever but in the middle of Summer instead. That means we haven't seen Addyson in a very long time.

Barcelo

Yeah, the Barcelo is about 20 times the size of the Dreams resort we were at Mom. Or more like 40 times the size. Super nice for sure. Staying for two days was an awesome treat!! Ah shoot, its 10PM now and I just remembered I said I was gonna call you tonight. Tomorrow I guess....

Not Fair

The Barcelo....I can only imagine what the rooms are like there. Puerto Adventuras was fabulous and The Barcelo looks even more ritzy. Ah yeah, but I'm forgetting you have to work. Makes me enjoy my holidays even more now even though we haven't ventured out of The Hat. Looks like Dad has an appointment in Calgary next week. That would be Tuesday. Will be making a flying trip up there.

just checkin in

Hey all... just checking in to say goodbye... Off to back to back wedding shoots. Staying at the Barcelo Maya for 2 nights!! Whoohoo! Room service!! It'll be alot of work and normally we don't book like this but how could we resist being in the same location... and a room for two nights!

Thats about it. Later.

Holidays

I'm on holidays for a week. Doing some catch-up work around the yard. Dad seems to be doing better. Is eating more, but still sucking back the Gatorade and Ensure. He's gained one pound and I've gained two. Guess my metabolism isn't as good as his. Went to Kin Coulee July 1st. "The Stampeders" were playing. They were big in the late 70's.....and trust me they aren't cut out for the 21st Century. The fireworks were spectacular! That was totally worth having to wait for! Way to go Canada!
