Oink Oink.

Hhahaha... no I didn't take that pic. Saw it on Facebook. Laughed my head off.

SWEET????? SWINE FLU!!!!!

Please tell me you didn't take that picture. Poor little girl.

OH!!!

Wow!!! TEVA!!! in her kennel!! I knew she would go in there! Did Dad have to do some heavy duty coaxing? Or what? Geez... Grandpa has been busy!

Thanks for all the pics!

How sweet...

Princess

For those of you who haven't seen the Little Princess for awhile, here she is.....

HaHa!#!#! Grandpa's been busted!. I'm innocent. First he shared the icing with Addyson, but oh no that just wasn't enough....shared the CHOCOLATE and looks like she quite enjoyed it. She's waiting patiently for her turn to chomp into the Easter Goodie.

Just in case you don't believe it.

Here's a new direction. Lori, do you miss Teva now? She also hunts bugs here, however, it is by clawing the living room window in hopes of snagging the crawlers on the outside of her new-found view. Poor Kitty, must drive her crazy.

Nothing is Impossible

Dad's had time on his hands and guess what he's managed to do? Now either Teva is comfortable or she's running away (or in her case flying away) from her new home.

Many Thanks

Thanks for the "Congrats". Seems the roles have been a little reversed here. Finally finishing something I should of done 35 years ago. Oh well, I'm looking at the bright side of it all. I finally figured out why I worked to get all the "A"s in Grade 12. Man, you'd think I was a slow learner or something. Anyways, a lesson well learnt and a word of advice to all my children, your never too old to learn (just takes longer...haha). It's actually a good feeling to have accomplished, well almost, (still have the NACOR to do) finished the program. By the way....one glass of red wine does not constitute being DRUNK, it was merely a form of celebration!

On the other hand, Happy Birthday to Kim. I didn't forget. I actually called her. Spoke mostly to Addyson. She always likes to talking to Gramma & Granpa. She may not see our faces much, but she should know our voices. If Kim hooked up the web-cam, we could see her in action more.

Sounds like Houston is getting all the rain they need and Mexico is incubating the swine flu virus. Guess Lori & Lincoln might be wearing surgical masks to do the shoots. Realisticly, everyone has to take extra precautions as this may be the next pandemic. Nite-nite. Love Your Mommy & Daddy.

Hey Family!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIMMER!!!!

Lari....did you feel the rumble from the quake in Acupolco?? Looked at your website...pics are looking good!

Mom, congrats on finishing school....one more short stint and you're DONE!! yeah!!! Congrats on this far!!

Nothing really going on around here. I've been job hunting...still no phone calls though. :( I'm just gonna keep applying. Someone will want to talk to me eventually. Ah, well. We had a going away party for PJ on the weekend. He's moving to Scotland in a week or two. I applied for Sisqo and I to be on the Dog Whisperer. Cesar Milan's producers were here in Houston so I made a DVD and brought it in. Cross your fingers.

Really, nothing is going on here....maybe some rain this week again....we can always use it!

Congrats

Congrats Mommer on finishing your schooling!!! I'm so glad you went to school and you're coming out with some skills for good opportunities! Oh, now I know how you felt when I graduated college! I'm so proud! hahaha.

So, for everyone else... my parents called me tonight. I didn't know Mom was drunk tho! That does explain some things... hahah. So, turns out if you'd like to call me from Canada you may have to wait about a minute before it starts ringing. But... Skype is easier and cheaper anyway.

CELEBRATING

And celebrating what, you say? Well, let me see at 4:00 o'clock today I finished my last exam for the Eyeglass Year 2 Program. Came home and cracked open "The Fat Bastard" and Dad made a toast to sticking to the books for two years. Maybe someday, when your my age, you'll understand. That gray sponge of mine has many holes....holes aren't the problem though, it's when they fail to absorb the info I'm trying to stuff into every little nook & cranny that's the problem. Ah well, I know I'll pass in the end. Now I only have the NACOR to complete and then I'll have my license. The national accreditation exam is scheduled for June 26,27,28 & 29 in Edmonton. We finished celebrating by going out to Tony Roma's for supper and some more wine. Guess I should have a good headache tomorrow. Ouch, story of my life!

Boring...

You guys must lead boring lives (except Connie). Seems nothing ever happens in your lives. Mom, don't you have any stories of stuff that happens at work? Or books that Dad has been writing? Kim, doesn't Addy ever do anything funny? Or is she boring to? Please do tell.

We finally got internet running in our office. For the first month and a half we could only get it in the living room. Now they brought the signal right into our unit. And we have it on all three computers!! Now we can skype!!

After our condo meeting it was decided we would be getting a gym for Akoya. Courtesy of the builder. Should be interesting to find out what kind of equipment they'll be putting in there. We're trying to get our hands on a list of it before they purchase it. Supposed to be up and running within 2 months. Ha, we'll see about that one.

We're way past due to visit the gym. Bellies are growing. Especially considering we've been staying at some sweet resorts with good food. Not good for the figure!

Moments That Really Matter

Hey, was just checkin the site out. Lots of fantastic pictures. I always like looking at wedding pictures whether I know them or not. My favorite? I really don't know. Groups were interesting, the bride crying is precious, the bride/groom @ the beach, the sandy heart...I must say you guys are really catching some great one-time shots and to boot, it's all in a days work. Keep up the good work. Love Mom & Dad.

Whazup??

Hahhaa, whazup? I haven't heard that in a while!

Just wanted to let you all know whaz been up here. We are wedding'less for 6 days (starting 3 days ago)! Phew, we have some time to work on our packages now. The work on the computer takes longer than the actual wedding day. We've shot... uh... I think 6 weddings now. We have put up some new slideshows on our website. They're pretty good!

Check em out, www.MomentsThatMatterPhotography.com. Click 'Dreams Tulum' or 'El dorado sea side'. Those are just some of the finest resorts we've been visiting this month!

Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself to make sure this isn't a dream. For me, I am living in a dream! and it's kinda funny to think about where we started with this. Less than a year ago I bought my first real camera and now... look where we are. We sure did make alot happen in the last year.

Happy Birthday Link-n

Hey everybody, Lincoln celebrated his 40th birthday and didn't let anyone know!

Haha, Lincoln. Don't really know how old he is, just thought I'd get some attention.

Happy Belated Birthday Lincoln. Hope you had a great day and didn't have to work (if you call hangin out at the beach and walkin in the sand work).

whats new with me?

I'm glad I asked! Just chillin in the condo with the doors wide open. The doors are pretty much open as long as we're home (except when we sleep). Jeter likes to sit on the patio when it gets dark out. I always figured she was scoping for bugs... and last night she confirmed that. She came in the house with something in her mouth. It looked like a moth. Then she dropped it and surprise.... She brought a gecko in the house. They don't last long in the house cause the kids sniff them out pretty quick anyway. This was only our second one.

Also found some special floor clear to repel insects. We'd been having a bit of an ant issue. We'll see how it works....

Weddings are going good. We are going to Dreams Cancun today. Staying over night there to shoot a Trash the Dress tomorrow afternoon. We still have 3 packages to finish processing on the computer. Another two to shoot in the next 3 days and then we're at home for six days! We'll get all the packages completed, and posted online. I'm excited to post them cause they are FAN-tastic!

Lemme know what happening with you guys:
- Mom & Dad, anything new in the Hat?
- Kim, hows Addy? How was Vegas and Houston?
- Dar, any news? You gonna move our of your apartment? Ur lease is up isn't it?

Nice

Nice t-shirt and eyebrowS!! I see Andrea is keeping you groomed!! Glad to hear Mex was a good time. I think you'll need to post on here a little more often considering I won't be getting news over the phone like 3 weeks before you every post it here....

Well I did make it back from Mexico.

Ya been pretty busy trying to get back on the normal schedule. Um guess to update everyone with my life. Got deferred from CPS for 2yrs, makes me mad because it apparently was from stuff I did in 02. Like gluing a loonie to a casino floor, Opps. Anyways, still seeing Andrea things are going great right now. I work the night shift so I just sleep or watch movies all night, but don't tell anyone that. lol.

Here are a few pics from Ixtapa, Mexico

One down...

... One million left to go! Today was a huge success. As always, I was very nervous for the wedding. All went well tho! Everyone was super nice! Got into the resort no prob. We will post some pics on our site soon. We're pretty sure we captured alot of "gold" shots!

Today was super hot! and sunny! I shot the girls getting ready in the room... then off for some fun group girl shots on our way to the ceremony. The girls had a ton of fun and had some ideas of their own! So, that worked out well! No need to be nervous! Until tomorrow! hahha. Then we met up with Linc and the whole crew at the ceremony. It mostly went well... except there were two officiant people and they are in all the shots.... or just plain old in the way. Not good... but we did what we could.....

We're sure the bride will be super happy with her package! Can't wait to finish it!

I must say... this beats an all day office job hands down. It's pretty hard work, out in the heat, carrying around tons of equipment (which Lincoln did most of... thank god!). I liked it alot. Had fun with the girls! After the shoot we hit the all inclusive buffet. Contemplated filling a to go bag.... Hhahaha.

It was a little surreal returning back home after our days work today. Pulled into the gated community as if it were our own! It still feels like a holiday... not quite home yet. Altho I do not miss Calgary at all.... Sorry Dar. Just you. Heehee. I could get used to this life!

Wish us luck

Tomorrow we shoot our first wedding as true Mexicans! Well, illegal Mexicans! hahaha. We aren't expecting issues, we're there as their guests! Just been surfing on the net for some ideas tonight.

We have our home office mostly setup. I got a new desk. It's our own little cubical area! I took our name plates from Gibsons so we can reminiss about the good old days back when we weren't our own bosses! Ah... freedom!

Anyway, Nutty is off to the kennel tomorrow for her first stay at the Doggie Holiday while mom and dad go to work. She'll love it I'm sure! We'll be at Dreams Tulum tomorrow and El Dorado Seaside on the 11th. More booking coming in fast and furious. We've got a few for 2010 already!

I can't wait to get to work on these latest packages. I think we have improved alot since our last shoot! We'll be delivering some prime product this time around!

FIRE THE HOUSEKEEPER

Ha,Ha,Ha! Just got home from Calgary and am still laughing at your new housekeeper. Sure is a good thing she is only 2 feet tall otherwise just imagine what else she'd clean out. She looks pretty serious about her business. Whatever, you do, don't give her a raise! Hilarious. Is Gavin changing his mind about having kids after seeing Baddy-Addy in action?

So did you and Kim have a good time? Lucky you, Rock Vegas this week-end. Is Lori joining you too? Hey, we could of made it a girls week-end. Anyways thanks for the entertainment. Leaving for Regina tomorrow.

I'm here I'm here!

So, KAB came to visit. Poor Bill was only here for 3 days. Not only did it go by super fast, he also got burned sitting by the pool on Sunday. It even seemed like Kim and Addy's time here was pretty short. Even though they were here for a week, felt like only a couple days.

Here are some pics/vids.

Oh, and for those of you who don't know (everyone but Kim) I'll be meeting Kim in Vegas for the weekend.

Testing testing... is this thing on??

Hi? Anybody out there? How was the family gather in Houston? Any pics?

Well, I'm home sweet home now in Playa! Just layin on the bed... feeling the cool breeze of the fan. Ah.... Weather has been fantastic! It has been about 37 degrees everyday since I got here. Went to the lawyers office today to get my papers submitted. After a few signatures and some pesos my documents are off to immigration. We are feeling really confidant that this guy has us on the right track now. And, he moves quickly... believe it or not. So, we're happy... for now....

Nightly routine is a walk with Linc and Nutty. Sometimes up to an hour! Got out of it early tonight cause it looked like it was going to rain. But it didn't! Jeter is doing well. She likes to come out and socialize at night and lay out on the patio.

Things around here are pretty darn good! I'm glad to be out of the snow! Oh, we went to a new beach the other day and there was a sand drift across the road! hahaha... far cry from snow drifts!

Lemme know whats shakin' in Canada!!!
