Well family, it has finally happened. Our little Addy got her first chicklet. It is a lil bottom guy and it is hardly poking out but you can see/feel a bit of the jagged edge. I did try to get a picture of it but that is nearly impossible as she guards it well.
Not much else new here except we're working on the new house. Maybe I'll get some pictures online. Addy and I will go there to visit Daddy after she wakes from her morning nap.

Wow... I think I found a new career path! Dentistry!!!
Went to the dentist yesterday to find out what I need to do about my clicking/hurting jaw. My current orthotic is to be worn only at night, and its not working because I do not clench my teeth at night, so the orthotic cannot keep my teeth positioned correctly.
Anyway, permanent solution is braces/invisiline for a full year (at least!), then surgery to reposition my jaw. Holy fart, that is serious business.... Guess how much... 15 THOUSAND bucks!!! I know, pocket change! I think I need to start fund raising. Haha.
And, guess who doesn't have adult orthodontia coverage!? Thats right, ME! I have to wait til the end of the year to boost my coverage, then get braces. Well, actually, I won't be getting braces, forget that noise! I'll be getting invisiline.

Speaking of R&R... have u guys used your gift certificate for the night at the rocky mountain resort? That expires very soon. Figure out what you are gonna do with it. If you're not gonna use it, you need to re-gift it or something.
I know it sounds like dad doesn't want to go.... but.... What if you guys are coming here for the weekend... then leave cosmo here for one night and go out for a cruise in the mountains??
Or... Mom... if Dad doesn't want to go.... if you just want to use it I can go with you.... Or a friend of yours or something?!?!!?
When does it expire?
Well, May is just about finished and it has just flown by. Lucky for us, Gavin and Connie decided to get married in Mexico and so we had a holiday away from the Canadian scene. The wedding was like a fairy tale. Connie looked beautiful and made us very proud. Of course, Gavin was very handsome also, but the bride always steals the show. What a terrific couple. We are so fortunate to have another son-in-law to welcome into our family. (We just wish they lived closer.) Gavin, we know you'll take good care of our daughter. Mexico was fantastic!!!! It was very busy. Eight days just went way too fast. The girls day proved to be very relaxing and fun. Mala and Lori had everything organized and went off without a hitch. May 7th, the wedding day, went just as smoothly. The ocean in the background, the breeze blowing and a couple in love exchanging vows. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Congratulations and maybe now you'll be blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby. We're waiting for grandbaby number two. Ha, ha, I know there's time.
Unfortunately there were the two mishaps.....one with Darin slashing his finger open....razors must be enclosed in a secure holder....and poor April with the palapa collapsing. Hopefully neither will have any lasting effects.
After a days rest in Medicine Hat, we continued on to Regina to see Kim, Bill and Addyson. Unfortunately they couldn't join us in Mexico. A decision they had to make keeping Addyson in mind. No shots, the heat, Mexico, only a decision good parents can make. Sorry, you weren't there, we did miss you and did think of you.
When we returned to The Hat, we continued on to Olds for Uncle Clarence"s 65th birthday. The Lemieux Family was all there except for Uncle Johnny. I didn't realize there were so many guitar players....let me see....Uncles Clarence, Guy, Henri, Aime, Auntie Colleen, Clayton, can't forget Auntie Peggie on the spoons...there was 3 going at all times. Was funny, cause it had a few on-lookers wondering where the players kept coming from. Oh, forgot to tell you, there was a piano and your father picked out Happy Birthday by ear, needless to say Uncle Clarence had his turn on the ivory keys too. Fun, Fun, Fun.
Oh and I did forget to tell you, my marks were waiting when I got home. Yes, I did it. I now have Year I Optician under my belt. Got an A+. Actually mark wise, I got 92%. The average for Alberta was 64% so I think I did rather well. 94% was the high for Alberta. Ok, that's enough bragging for now.
Everybody working on the camping plans? I know I have the days off.
Dad got kicked out of the buffet for wearing a sleeveless Tshirt. Darin gave him his shirt to wear.

Well, isn't it just great that I'm getting sick for my holiday. Yesterday I woke up with a sore throat, when I went to bed I had a headache (still have it), and to top it all off I'm extremely stiff and can hardly walk!!! Super!
