ADDYSON
That's our Happy Addyson. Almost sounds like she's talking to us. She's so smart. Must take after her grandparents. She sure has gained chunky cheeks in 2 weeks. Goo-Goo-Ga-Ga Addy! (That's baby talk for your such a little cutie)
Well, Mommer is trying to figure out how to post a video. Baby Addy says HI to everyone!!

Well Addy made her first trip a success! We travelled to Minot and she did extremely well. We only had to stop once in each direction to feed and change her. Then, the hotel stay was very good too and she slept in her playpen. Now, we've moved her into her own bedroom in a crib. Last night went ok but Mom and Dad were very tired!
Other than that, we had another doc appt today and Addy is now 10.47 pounds and 22.5 inches. She is growing like a bad weed! I'll have to get some pics online.
I also worked on Addy's birth announcement and it is nearly finished. I can't take credit for anything else except selecting a design. Michelle Strawford is doing the actual work.
Nothing else new here. In the upcoming days, I want to wrap up my Xmas shopping. Should be pretty easy since I'm just letting the potatoes overripen downstairs!
Bye,
Billy, Kim'r & Addy

Sunday November 25, 2007 just happens to be GreyCup Day. The game is done and the BlueBombers didn't win. Our sympathy to any such fans. HaHa, sorry. Rider Pride rules. Go Riders Go! The cup is finally making its way back to Regina.

Turkey on the 26th would be AWESOME! I thought I was gonna miss turkey day... so glad I'm not! Tx! I'm sorry to say... I'm kind of getting exciting about xmas on the beach. It will be so different but it will be an experience I'll never forget.
Love you all. Sorry I won't be there for the regular family traditions!
Darin has finally lost the title....it only took 26 years....but sorry you'll always be my baby. I must admit you had me puzzled at the start cause I looked at the sender. I guess you owe Addyson big time! Sounds like Dec. 26 will probably be turkey. You'll have to check amongst yourselves which day is best, just be sure to let me know so we can actually have a turkey dinner.

You might be thinking, well is the Gavin then? No its not. Finally you might think that its the baby of the Lemieux family. Well you guys are just too easy to trick. Im not the baby of the family anymore.
In regards to Xmas im not entirly sure when I will be going down there, cuz obviously that is my busy time at work, and its already crazy there. I only have one day off every three weeks, it seems like that anyways. Im sure I will make it down, I havent had turkey in a long time.

Ok... here is what we've decided... Whoevers name you get, you fill a stocking for them. The budget should be $40-50... ish.
Bill -----> Connie
Lincoln -> Bill
Gavin --> Lori
Lori ----> Mom
Kim ----> Darin
Mom ---> Kim
Dad ----> Lincoln
Connie -> Dad
Darin --> Gavin
Just to be clear for everyone, you can still be thoughtful (ie. please don't spend 50 bucks on toothpaste and deodorant to fill a stocking. Thats ok for a little filler but... feel free to put some thought into it).
The rest is all the same, so, basicaly... what we've been doing is just buying for everyone. Budget for this is around 20-30 buckers. Or whatever you like. Feel free to pool together.
ps... Mom, do we have enough stockings at home? I have a couple I will bring. So, no need to buy any stockings people. We already have some to fill.
HAPPY SHOPPING!!!
Link'n, you like to live on the edge. You sayin' Omer tends to be grouchy. Funny, I actually thought he was fakin' it in the picture. Remember the paper has to include the GOOD and the BAD.
Oh, by the way Dad, aka Omer now has access to the blog and will be doing his own postings.

ps - I'll get his paper ready on nice things to say to us when he wakes up.

Okay Lori, Portland sounds like fun. By the way I noticed the full glasses of orange juice or were these screwdrivers? Ah, silly comment, of course it's O.J., why else would they STILL be full.
Got back to The Hat after being in Regina for a week. Little Addyson is learning so much everyday. It's amazing to see the progress a little 10 pounder can make in 7 days. She's gorgeous and we miss her already. Auntie Lori's turn this week. Kim and Bill thought they had a family of 3......but it seems to have expanded to having extra siblings around continually. Apparently Addy's Pigley-Wigley foot casting wasn't enough excitement for her today, she also got to try her snugli....I'm telling you she's a very busy little person.
And now it's back to reality for me. Back to work tomorrow and off to Calgary later in the day for classes. I'm beginning to wonder if I am insane or bored.

Well, I am no longer a lady of leisure. I'll be going back to work starting Tuesday for 3 weeks. Then I head off to Houston for about 10 days (Darin will be staying at the house with the pug), and then I'll go back to work until Christmas.

First Morn in the hotel. Gettin' prepped for a big day of shopping!
Big day of shopping!
Downtown Portland.
Eve by the river, downtown Portland.
Lunch at the floating restaurant. A little under-dressed in my sweats/t-shirt. Didn't know it was a fancy restaurant. Oooopsie.
And I have more pics of our last day (from our little scenic drive). Post later.
Oh, story... got scammed at the hotel. We were leaving our room, got to the elevator and someone is all frustrated getting off the phone... "ok, I'll have to call you back then". Proceeds to ask Linc and I for money for a cab cause his wife is accross the river with his rental car and wallet... in the hospital in labour. So we gave him money that he was supposed to return the next day... Until we talked to the front desk and found out this is a scam going on in Portland, and we won't be getting our money back. Nice of the hotel to warn us hey? We've got an email into them asking why they are not taking care of their customers by letting them know to be careful about this guy. Keep you updated.
Bye bye for now.
Mom, hows school?!
I don't know 100% if I'm gonna be home for Xmas day. Linc and I are thinking of going to the Dominican (to his parents place). We would leave here Dec 18ish and get back very LATE on the 25th. Then I would drive to the Hat... either that night or on Boxing day.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet... This would be WEIRD if i wasn't home. It would be my first Xmas that I miss... I will miss Addy's first Xmas!!! Ooooooh NO!!!
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
...Me!??! Shopped out?!?! I doubt it! After two very long days of shopping, Linc and I managed to spend about a grand each! I at least bought some gifts! Lincs moola was all spent on himself!! Hes a shopper too! Hes not one of those "men" that tag along and tell the "woman" to hurry up!! Haha!
As for Xmas... Lets pick names... I pick ADDY!!! Haha! Just joshin'. Uh... Well... I think its fun to pick names but I guess its becoming pointless cause we buy for everyone anyway. Maybe the names we pick could mean something else... like... lets say we buy gifts for everyone... except the name we pick... The name we pick we could buy them a gag gift??? Or... the name we pick we fill a stocking for? Or... I don't know.
Post your thoughts...
Christmas is creeping up on us. When mom and dad were here last time dad brought up the name picking thing. Are we doing this again this year? Do we want to pick names? Should we not pick names? Lori, do you want to make each other stockings again this year? Maybe we can make a stocking for Addy and each put something in it.....just ideas.
Anybody else have any ideas? We've got to get on it, because before we know it, its gonna be December 25. Oh and for those of you wondering, Gavin and I will most likely be in Canada for Xmas. Kim & Bill, can you please let me know what your plans are so we make sure we're in the Hat at the same time. Thanks!
Love ya'll!

So, Lori....you had to go to the US to see your first maple leaf on something other than a Toronto hockey jersey. Interesting.... Well, Mom and I got a good chuckle. Maybe it is bcuz we are lacking in sleep since SOMEONE here doesn't think sleep is very necessary to sanity and health! Baby Addy has been awake pretty much all day....we'll see how she does tonight. Ready to come to Regina, Auntie Lori????

I guess I've been a little busier than I expected.... haven't had time to post. Nothing too exciting though. Went downtown a couple nights with a girl from my class. Had some good eats and shopping!! Been going to the gym and surfing lots to find stuff to do here when Linc comes.
Anyway, look at this leaf I found. Cool hey? Its HUGE!!
And a view from the hotel... Downtown is back there somewhere...
Oh my goodness Link-n. Guess you still don't know my Lori very well. Oysters, clams.....I would say is the same as fish.....its just not happening with her. I am grateful you took her to the airport and pointed her in the right direction. Good advice telling Lori to keep flashing the passport, I just hope she hangs on to it. We're heading to Regina Friday. Hopefully no white stuff on the ground.

Well, I did it! I went out and bought a piece of art. Not sure what the boss is gonna think of what I did to the house! He gets back from hunting on Saturday. I took down his Texas Longhorns and put the art above the fireplace with two small plants, one on either side. I bought 6 fake plants yesterday, we'll see if that helps. We're having an open house again this weekend.....cross your fingers!
Thats it for now....sorry no pics, Gav has the camera!

No worries... Link-a-roo-ski is heading out west to check on your little bundle of joy this weekend. Just to make sure she is ok... and maybe try and get her to shuck some oysters with me smothered in budda! hehehe Ok... maybe not oysters... I'll start her off with a patter of clams!!! YIPPIE!!!!
Dropping her off at the airport... I imagine would have been much like sending your kid off to school for the first time. hehehe I just pointed her towards US customs... and told her it would all be ok... just keep walking and showing people your passport. Aahhh... they grow up sooooo fast!
