The Waiting Game

Okay, Gramma and Grampa aren't very good at this waiting game. Grampa's words of widom are: "HE'LL have to shave by the time HE's born!" Gramma's reply: "Perhaps, but it will be HER legs". She sure won't be taking after The Lemieux's cause we all know how patient they are. HaHa. Anybody agree???

Just another Saturday

Bill and I are watching the Rider game this Sat aft and we are patiently for baby to arrive. He is just taking his sweet time and people at work find it quite amusing that he doesn't take after his mom's timeliness. BAby is certainly throwing a bit of a wrench into the project plan! I am a-ok with that but Daddy keeps trying to coax him out. If we make it to Monday morning, we'll have another doctor's appt then.

Other than this, we do limited things. Today, we went shopping at Walmart and then we were supposed to get groceries but my back was wayyyy too tired for that! So, that'll have to happen after church tomorrow.

Nothing more to provide updates on and we'll talk to you all soon!!

Don't believe it!!

Ummmm....Linc, I don't believe you that Lori was a part of this reno project. You may be asking yourself....Why? Because the project looks done. Lori doesn't finish hers for a LONG time after she starts. You must have her mixed up with someone else. :o) Love you Lor!!!

I told you guys (I think)... the baby is coming on the 28th! You have a couple more days to wait! hehehe
Until then... enjoy the pics of the new floor that Lemmers and I did... well we tore out the carpet anyway.

ps - Billy... what's the deal with gas fireplaces? You know if there is another way to adjust the gas flow other than the high-low knobby? My flame is really low and it set as high as it goes.

Keith Urban

Well, Lori and I went to Keith Urban on Tuesday.....it was quite the show! I enjoyed it very much. Here are a few pics so ya'll can see what you missed out on! Oh, and I'm gonna try a video too, so check that out too!!!
OK the video is in two parts because I ran out of batteries and changed them quickly!!

Whos family is this?!!?

Holy mackerel are things ever changing around here!?!?

1) our mother is going to school
2) we'll have our first little munchkin hangin out at our family gatherings!
3) I was actually home for a couple days this week!! CLEANING!

Anyway, Kimberly... I'm so excited to see little Miss Jr. I can't believe how fast time has flown. I'm still sad I'm gone now. I won't be around to spoil the little bugger, and babysit of course. Oh well... I'll buy her love with presents in the mail! Heehee.

And, as for the house stuff, I've been working pretty hard to get things all ready. Sara and I finished the painting last week. Still a little bit of touch ups but, its looking good. I'm off tomorrow to get some more stuff done.... FUN! Not.

Mommer, good luck with school. No TV til your homework is done!

Thurs - one week off

Well, I thought since I've been 'off' work for a week that maybe I shoudl make a post. I have been out of the office for 1 week now. I've been doing some work from home today for TMC and then other days for Alliance. I am starting to catchup nicely on some much needed paperwork!

Billy and I are patiently awaiting someone's beck and call to enter into the world. So far no major signs of when this will be happening. The bag is mostly packed and Bill was practicing his fast driving skills the other day when he was late for my doc's appt. I guess we just sit and patiently wait to see what time brings.

Not much else new around our house. We had a camping 'visitor' that we quickly got rid of once he was discovered. The rodent was not welcome in our home and within the hour, he was trapped! ARGH! So, the past couple days I've spent a bunch of time washing dishes and cleaning out cupboards. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

Well that is all for now. I am going to finish vacuuming upstairs so that we can make our way to the basement next....

WHEW!#!#!# I made the first day of school. Perhaps I should rephrase that and let everyone know I am now officially a student at Sait and am committed for the next two years. Let me tell you it felt a little weird cause I had a hard time finding anyone who might be older than me including the instructors. I'm sure the others thought I must be someone's Mom. HaHa, joke's on them cause I'm one of their classmates. Anyways all went well. Teresa, also a student and co-worker, has now become my crutch. Hopefully between the two of us, we can figure out what's going on. And for all you computer geeks out there, "HELP", first lesson was mainly on distant learning and I think my computer is saying it's also is too old and slow to accommodate the programming. Hum, sounds like me.

Ha,Ha Link-a-Roo. Roughriders rule! By the way, you are out-numbered by quite a few of us diehard Saskatchewan Roughrider Fans. I sure hope you get razed about your mug. Next time you pick a team go GREEN!

Baby News

Well, we had the ultrasound and thinks are supposedly good. That is happy news for us. I think I'll be taking work off soon just to destress, rest and get a few last minute things done around the house. I was thinking as early as next Wednesday. I think baby will come late but I'm purely guessing. The estimated baby weight on Tuesday was 6.5 pounds but I think that is a bit higher estimate than actual (but what do I know). Im including a pic for you to figure out...think Baby's face. These 3d scans are crazy detailed and she spent a lot of time showing us the face, fingers, arms, legs.

Oh, and Happy Anniversary to me and Billy (4 years)!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORI

Happy 29th Birthday Lori Dee. That's it, next year is the Big 30. Then you'll be old and will have to quite partying.....well slow down anyways.

We spent the last 3 days in Calgary/Chestermere. Helped Connie do some last minute fix-ups on the house. Made it out to Copperfield and were lucky enough to have Darin and Sarah have us over for supper. Had some yummy lasagna and cesear salad. Please feel free to have us over again for more taste testing anytime. We had a good laugh too cause Dad was so busy picking out the mushrooms, he didn't notice the green peppers. Good trick Darin. Anyways we had some fun, but unfortunately we returned to some bad news. Claude Lesperance was killed in a farm accident. He was an ex-employee of ours and married to my first cousin, Rita Lalonde.

Good job!

Goog job on your blankies Kim. They look really good. Especially that camo one. Its cool. Too bad you don't know if your having a girl! otherwise you could have made a pink camo one. That would be sweet!

So, Linc and I were in Regina for the game. It was good. Nice relaxing low key weekend. But, I came home to a bunch of work still... Dang! Sara painted the rest of the kitchen (thanks Sara), and now we have the halls/entrance left. This is gonna be a long week of painting for US!
