Ok, yes, it is finally me! KIM'R!! Well, I don't have any pics to share quite yet since I haven't plugged in my camera for a long while.
I finished up a bunch of receiving blankets and a camo quilt (no Lori you cannot take it home with you this weekend). Michelle brought her serger out to Echo Lake and we spent the day sewing while the guys went golfing. A bit of an odd camping activity but we got lots done!
I am schduled for what I hope is one last ultrasound....count em..all 6! Mom only ever had 1 with Lori just to give you an idea of how many docs I've seen as of late. I'll give you an update on that after Tuesday.
That is all for now....signing out and getting back to work. Just thought I'd better make an 'appearance'.

Wowzer!
Looked like a pretty exciting trip to Kelowna. By the smiles on your faces I'd say your "in love". If I was you Lincoln I'd keep an eye on Lori. She's already admitted she loves "Suzuki" and your the one who introduced her to this gray speedster. Luck is on your side though, I'm sure she'll be parking him for the Winter.
Painting looks wonderful. Didn't even recognize the bedroom. Whew, thank goodness for the messy bed.....was a dead give-away.

Yup
Dats cool... cause really... I'll still be making good coin on this place. Plus, I am buying in the same market soooo, I'm not too worried. If I have to sell for less than that also means I'll be able to buy for less. For you, moving to another city, it kinda sucks... Dang hey?
Housing Market
Hey Lor....sad news on the housing market....prices are going down...not gonna get as much for your place....us either!!! :O( I heard on the news today that prices went down 3 months in a row, they said that the market is just "correcting" itself now from the boom. DARN!

Check it out!
Shocker
Ok, believe this or not... I've actually been home long enough to start some more painting, with Darin and Sara's help of course! Main bath is ALL done! Its looks really good. Got 'er all staged up for a showing. Basement paint is half done, entrance and halls are mostly mudded. So, still lots of work but, its going well.
Unlike Connie and Lincoln, I'm excited about showings cause I think our place will look awesome!! I think our painting and decorating will set it apart from the other condos there and possibly help it sell faster. Or... who knows... I may want to stay after all. Stayed tuned for pictures!

Already Annoyed!!
Thanks Linc.....I'm already annoyed at how often we have to clean the house......um, everytime we turn around!!! I think I'll just make everyone clean a room before they leave the house after the party....think that will work???

PARTY
PARTY? WHAT PARTY? DID SOMEBODY LOSE OUR PHONE NUMBER? Just joking, hope everybody has a good time and Link'n is right, hope you don't have to show the house before all the party animals leave. Maybe a game of Real Murder Mystery would be good, only you'd have to modify it so everyone is the murderer then no one will want to leave any evidence and your place will remain spotless. Should this idea fail, just give everyone a cloth to help you clean.

Good luck on the house sale! I know how you can inticipate the sale showing after showing... and no offers. Its a really bad time to sell right now with over 9000 active listings... its really high and buyers have a lot to choose from. I ended up taking 20G less than an offer I turned down weeks before in the end... but if you have the time... it wil all be good. You have to price right... now be greedy and take any offer seriously if its close.
What is going to happen with this party tommorow? You going to follow people around and clean up after them! hahaha Let us know what happens when you have a showing at 9am the day after! hahaha
I love a clean house... but it starts to really get on your nerves after a while of wiping the taps and sinks after EVERY use!

WOWSERS!!!!
OK. So, I may be done working....but I have been sooooo busy at home. The house is ready now for showings (the first one was today). We were kinda hoping to get a phone call with a really good offer......but, the phone hasn't rang yet! Now, I just have to maintain the cleanliness of the house. Come to think of it.....I don't think its ever been this clean!!!!
And I forgot to tell ya'll that I had no time to slack on my last day of work!! Shucks!! If the house doesn't sell quick and I'm just sitting at home twiddling my thumbs Husky said they would take me back......Can you blame them? I don't think so!!!
Ta Ta For Now!!

Congratulations Link'n!! I know your first is suppose to be the cutest of all, but I'm afraid your baby has come out lookin' somewhat like a dog. No fear, I'm sure she'll be loved very much. Welcome to parenthood of the 21st century....babies in our age had 2 legs not 4. I'm sure Peanut will keep you hopping.

Update
Gavin comes home from Texas tomorrow. He better start fixing stuff around the house and get the yard all up to par so the house can be put on the market sooner than later. Maybe by the weekend?? 5 days left of work before I'm done here.
I brought Sisqo to the vet yesterday. Apparently he's still overweight. Whatever, says Momma! He needs a couple booster shots on September 10th, then I guess we can leave anytime after that.......

STUBBORN?????
Who are you trying to fool? Lori stubborn? Ah, very funny on the part of the Missing Link. Lori is just very set in her ways. She's figures there's only one way to do things and that would be her way. HaHa.
We're always ecstatic to hear Lori's riding skills are improving cause I'm the Mom and I will always be worried. Playing in traffic just isn't my idea of a good time but if you must Stay Safe and keep those beautiful brown eyes wide open.
Sorry we had to call on the road trip to B.C. with the bad news. I know Auntie Signe and the girls were glad we could all make it to Uncle Chico's funeral. 49 years old is just too young to die.

Uh... excuse me...
Uh... I think my family knows me better than to believe I would ever be stubborn!! RIGHT family?!?!? hahaha, as if. But whatever... you're stubborn too!
Oh, and thanks for hopefully putting me mother at ease again about my riding.
I have to agree... that IS A MIRACLE!!!! During our trip into the Kootney's... I wasn't able to get Lemmers up and on the road before noon! Very different from travelling with the boys... good but different! hehehe
I have to say... after leading for the first day and 1/2 on the trip... I had Lemmers take the lead on her bike. After the first couple curves in the back roads... I quickly realized that her skill level is great! No wavering from the line she was holding... and my nervousness for her safety quickly passed. An excellent beginner rider and very safe. We made a few highway passes... all done in very well... and she didn't push herself too far. I almost got into a couple brawls with stupid drivers on the hwy... but that's what a protective boy friend will do I guess. Maybe my skulls helmet scared them... but both drivers left us alone after I pulled up beside them and showed them my gun as I tapped on their side window! hahaha Ok... maybe not... but they left us alone after I expressed my disapproval in my own way.
I have told her that riding in the city is more difficult... and you have to be alert at all times for bad drivers... which I think she is much better at now. She even said that she is a better driver in her truck and sees things she didn't before. This could be the break thru where she actually listens to me instead of being stubborn and doing it her own way! hahaha... heeeheee... aaahhh... ummm.... ooops... Im sorry... AGAIN! hehehe
Cudos to LEMMERS! I think she is doing excellent and learning really fast.

Its a MIRACLE!!
Yellooooo. Soooo, today was the big day... I rode my bike to work for the first time. I got up early so I didn't have to face the normal rush hour traffic. The ride was smooth. A little cool cause I guess I didn't wear enough layers... but overall, it went very well. Since our trip out to Kelowna I've been feeling alot more comfortable on my bike and I'm riding much much better!!! Wooohoo! It is fun and that cool breeze does a good job at waking me up in the morning. Now THAT is a miracle!
